Item order

Stages top to bottom, items left to right

  1. 1

    Early game

    12,800 Souls

Laning Time. Swap Enduring Speed/Healbane for Early Defensives or a Tier II you prefer.

    1. Restorative ShotRestorative ShotBest early sustain item, and early Weapon Damage is clutch.
    2. Close QuartersClose QuartersLaning is usually CQC. If you lane against people who operate further back, get Headshot Booster.
    3. Quicksilver ReloadQuicksilver ReloadSwitching to your Knife is faster than reloading.
    4. Opening RoundsOpening RoundsKeep enemies low, where Bleed from Knives might matter and build your Spirit Power.
    5. Recharging RushRecharging RushDo not rush getting this- no pun intended. This gives us an extra Knife and Weapon Damage.
    6. Enduring SpeedEnduring SpeedMove quickly and heal faster when out of combat. Just valuable. Upgrades into Juggernaut, which is fine.
    7. HealbaneHealbaneYour bleeding effect from Knives helps this stay proc'd often. If you want, get an Early Defensive over it.
    8. Surge of PowerSurge of PowerYour Knife is a tool for building Rage. It's weak on it's own. This helps with that a bit.

    Defensive Options

    Optional44,800 Souls

Get as needed, cut HA if you need slots.

    1. Spirit ShieldingSpirit ShieldingMight be better than Enchtanter's Emblem if Spirit damage is out of control early on.
    2. Reactive BarrierReactive BarrierThese effects feel all too common and this is a solution to that problem.
    3. Dispel MagicDispel MagicGreat item, but there are times where it isn't as good as Counterspell. Be thoughtful in its use.
    4. CounterspellCounterspellVery valuable, and timing is really important. Don't forget you have this- if you tend to forget, don't buy it.
    5. Warp StoneWarp StoneInteresting option over Bullet Resilience- that said, you buy this for the teleport usually.
    6. SilencerSilencerGood swap for Crippling Headshot if you are facing a mostly Spirit-based enemy team.
    7. Bullet ResilienceBullet ResilienceNever go to a school in America without it.
    8. Spirit ResilienceSpirit ResilienceNever go to an abandoned prison without it.
    9. Metal SkinMetal SkinIf the Gun Carry is out of control on the enemy team, this might be the play. Loss of movement hurts, though.
    10. Stamina MasteryStamina MasteryOne of my personal favorites because I suck at movement. If you suck at movement, get this!
    11. JuggernautJuggernautUpgrade to Enduring Speed. You should want all of its effects if you buy it.
    12. Ethereal ShiftEthereal ShiftReally reasonable option late game over Boundless if you find being dived is basically unavoidable.

    Situational Stuff

    Optional37,600 Souls

    Swaps and situation-specific stuff.

    1. Headshot BoosterHeadshot BoosterIf Close Quarters is going to be a problem to proc, get this. Think ahead on if you should buy this.
    2. HeadhunterHeadhunterIf you got Headshot Booster, you're likely going to want this. You have a shotgun, it isn't as hard as it seems.
    3. SharpshooterSharpshooterIf you have genuinely no choice but to fight at distance, and didn't take poke stuff- this is actually not half bad.
    4. Mystic ShotMystic ShotIf you don't like Recharging Rush, consider this- it'll aid you in poking early on for Rage.
    5. Express ShotExpress ShotIf you got Mystic Shot, you might want this over Hunter's Aura to strengthen your poke potential.
    6. RicochetRicochetIf you can't proc Crippling Headshot reliably, swap this in over it.
    7. DecayDecayReasonable tool for building Rage and also diminishing health on tanks/brawlers.
    8. KnockdownKnockdownFuck the sky and everyone in it.
    9. Cursed RelicCursed RelicYou hopefully won't have to take this, because if you are the one that has to, your teammates suck.
    10. WitchmailWitchmailSpellbreaker is generally preferred, but if you're facing a Spirit-focused enemy team, this is also very strong.
